I'm italian and I wanted something italian with my friends. The place is lovely, and the food honestly is delicious and worth the price tag. However, the service was very bad. It took them ages to actually come over to take our order, they took the tagliere order and left in a rush even if we wanted to order our pizzas. The tagliere arrived 40min after we sitted at the table. Pizzas were slightly faster but still very slow. The place was not crowded so I don't understand how they could be so slow. I'll be back but I be aware that they can take their time to serve you, and don't expect a discount on the service charges for the waiting.
We had a great evening at Wallace Asti and can’t wait to come again to try more dishes. We started with the Montanarine trio, which was perfect for sharing. My favourite was the one with beef tartare and truffle cheese. For mains we had the Regina Margherita pizza. You can choose between two different bases, which is a nice option. At first the pizza looked a little on the dry side, but after the first bite it proved to be delicious, with all the flavours combining really well. The waiter also offered chilli oil, which adds a nice touch if you prefer your pizza a bit juicier. Our second main was the steak, which I had been looking forward to the whole time — and it didn’t disappoint. It was cooked perfectly to my liking and melted in my mouth. We finished with tiramisu, my favourite Italian dessert, and it tasted exactly as expected. We paired everything with Orange Wine Karamarè, which was the best choice for the evening and worked beautifully with each course.
We’ve officially lost count of how many times we’ve been here, and it never ceases to amaze us. The food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is always wonderful. Last night was extra special: we were celebrating a promotion, and the staff went above and beyond to prepare a beautiful surprise for us. Their hospitality is top-notch! Just as a minor note for constructive feedback: this time, the pasta was a bit too firm. Both the fregola and the ravioli could have used just a little more cooking time. That being side, everything else was perfect as always. We love this place and will absolutely keep coming back!
It is a bit crowded and that is for a reason… their food is glorious. Don’t leave without tasting their prosecco. Wait is considerably long but totally worth it. If I have to take half point away is because the salad options. They only have one salad in the menu and it is small.

Pro Tip: Book ahead (card required) and definitely grab a pizza or tagliere to share, as the mains are quite small. For context, the culurgiones portion consisted of just six pieces—effectively €4 per piece, or the price of a flat white each. I was also a bit disappointed with the fregola; I was hoping for the more original, "soupy" style typically served in the region. Tagline of the visit: The bigger the plate, the lesser the content. Saying this the quality of food was good🙏
