What a lovely place to eat. This seems to be family-run, and people were so nice. There are many options on the menu (most of them with images), from noodle dishes and soup to rendangs. The portions are large, and if you are up for a pint of Guinness, nobody will stop you. On the photos: duck soup and beef rendang. Great value and very pleasant.
I have a Malaysian friend and this is the place she recommended for the most authentic Malaysian food here in Dublin. The serving and variety is plenty and the price is just right. The service is okay, the staff are attentive at times but you have to call their attention even though it is not that busy. It’s okay in terms of atmosphere, ample seating, place is a bit dark moderate noise but not that spacious. The place can accommodate a group despite this. Overall, great flavour if looking for a place to have a great Malaysian food.

Overall, Kopitiam is a great choice for anyone looking for something a bit different in Dublin, whether you’re already a fan of Malaysian food or trying it for the first time. Definitely worth a visit.
I was looking for good and authentic nasi goreng and I got it here. I would give this dish a solid 5 stars. The roti was great but the sauce was not outstanding. The nasi lemak was average though the rice was slightly better than other places ( too much cooking and too smushy). The desert was great. Overall, this kitchen is better and more authentic than others in town.
