We had a fantastic meal at The Coburg last night - I made a meal of two starters and my husband had the filet. I also had a divine cocktail with mango, passion fruit, and gin - can't for the life of me remember the name but it was soooooo delicious! My burrata starter with heirloom tomatoes and beetroot disappeared before I thought of taking a photo - just believe me when I say it was super tasty. My second starter was the pork belly with a tasty mixed cabbage salad and kimchi cucumber - my stomach is growling just at the thought of how unctuous the belly was, with a lovely crunchy skin. My husband's filet was amazing, and so was the peppercorn sauce. We were too full for dessert, but the staff surprised us with a plate of tiny tuxedo cake slices for our 35th wedding anniversary. Helena and Pedro took very good care of us - the entire meal was perfectly paced. I absolutely recommend booking a table here!
It was a great pleasure to return to the Coburg for dinner. Pedro recognized me even after six months since my last visit, which made the experience truly special. The service was attentive, and the food was delicious, refined, and of a very high standard. Thank you!
