Ordered the Arancini Sausage Ragu, Squid Ink Spaghetti, and Beef Cheek Rigatoni. The arancini was so-so, and the squid ink spaghetti fell short - pasta was hard and dry, with the overall flavor being unimpressive. The rigatoni had a chewy, firm texture and was the most decent of the 3, though still pretty average. Unfortunately, it was a hot day and the restaurant had no air conditioning, with the door left open - letting in quite a few flies. The only saving grace was our server, who kindly gave us ice to cool our water when we requested.
Great food, great atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. We really enjoyed it! We will definitely go back.
Ordered on deliveroo for two people. Portions are very small. Ordered pasta carbonara, it had no sauce and maybe 8 pieces of bacon.€57. Arancini was very nice though. Wouldn’t buy it again.
I had a nice experience overall. The food is good, with generous portions, and the arancini were absolutely fantastic , I’ll definitely be back for those. The only downside was the service. From the moment we sat down, we felt a bit rushed. I completely understand that restaurants can be busy and fully booked, but we were given a clear time limit of just over an hour (even when we book too), which made the experience feel slightly pressured. That said, the atmosphere is lovely and the quality of the food is good. With a more relaxed pace of service, this would be an excellent dining experience.
Regarding the service: The welcome was pleasant and quick. The ordering process was explained to us, and the waiter was very kind. The food: We ordered two dishes (Beef Cheek Tagliatelle and Garlic Prawns & Chilli). They were delivered on time. The beef cheek had very good meat, but the pasta needed more cooking time as it was slightly undercooked. The Garlic Prawns pasta was somewhat oily and only had four prawns. Overall, the dishes were reasonable in terms of price and portion size. We also ordered a dessert (tiramisu), which was very good—well balanced and fresh. 4/5 Atmosphere of the place: The place looks clean, with pleasant music, but it lacks character—everything is black, simple, and minimalist. 2/5
