Sea & Stone? I would not condone... I was disappointed by the steak I was served. The striploin was very fatty, tough and lacking in flavour. Perhaps there's a young student filling in as chef over the summer? The ambience was also confusing. The music aimed for an elegant, high-end feel, while the décor felt more like a family bistro. I couldn't help but think of the saying: "Don't pretend to be something you're not." When our desserts arrived, we weren't given any suitable cutlery, leaving us to start eating with our hands until a waitress noticed and brought spoons. To top it off, our bill included two coffees even though only I ordered one. My partner enjoyed her main course, but an average starter, disappointing dessert and poor steak overshadowed the experience. I won't be returning in a hurry.
We came to this restaurant for the first time and we really liked it. Great customer service connected to great quality of food makes the overall experience even better.
Our experience here can be summarized as top quality. The steak sandwich was incredibly delicious, easily one of the best I've ever had. My wife really enjoyed the full Irish breakfast she ordered. They also offer a kids' menu, which was a great option as well. TThe waitress was very nice and attentive, ensuring everything was excellent. I highly recommend this place.
We are home tonight after a fabulous meal to celebrate a family birthday. From the moment we arrived and welcomed at the door our server Maya looked after each one with an effortless efficiency. Smiling all the time no request no matter how tedious was too much. With a range of ages from 80 to 18 we had a variety of fussy orders but Maya took it all in her stride. This restaurant had been highly recommended so we arrived, hopeful as you are never sure the first time..There was no need to worry this was excellent. The smells and sounds of the sizzling steaks was amazing and they were fab. Other members had fish choices and all was excellent. We are definitely coming back. Thankyou to all for a great night.
