We came here for brunch and had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the quality to price ratio was excellent. The place was clean, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Everything we ordered was fresh and full of flavor. We will definitely be back, and next time we'd love to try the sushi. Highly recommended!
We were 6. We ordered the seafood Duo - prawns and calamari- for starters and we were not disappointed. Then 5 of us ordered the fillets of halibut with vegetables and roast baby potatoes. This was a delicious surprise with lots of creamy beautiful halibut. There was a salsa with it but the halibut was so good we were afraid that the salsa might dilute the flavour. All five agreed that this was the best fish dish we had eaten in a long time. Desserts were a kind of Eaton mess which was very good and an equally good banoffi. But the delicious fresh and perfectly cooked halibut stole the show. Well done Brass onion. The service was excellent and very friendly as usual. The glasses of Verdejo white Wine from Rueda were very good at the price. A great little spot. Don’t miss it. Highly recommended.
I had a really lovely experience dining at Brass Onion Bistro in Dublin. I was genuinely pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. The portion sizes were very generous, offering great value for the price. Overall, the food quality was very good. The pancakes were tasty, though slightly on the dry side — just a bit more sauce would make them perfect. Still, they were enjoyable. The BBQ wings were full of flavour and really well done, definitely something I’d order again. The highlight for me was the salmon and avocado sandwich — absolutely delicious and fresh. A small touch like a slice of lemon or lime on the side would make it even better. All in all, a very enjoyable visit with great food and a welcoming feel. I’d happily return and would recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying meal in Dublin.
We stopped at this place on our way to the airport for a quick lunch The place looks nice and we found it buzzing, a bit of a surprise considering the quiet area it's located in and the stuff was very kind all throughout That said, unfortunately I didn't particularly enjoy my brunch My eggs benedict had very little taste, despite they had bacon and crispy onion Even adding salt didn't help much. I think the main problem was the sauce, that instead that "normal" hollandaise sauce it looked and tasted like colored mayo, so overpowering any other flavor while still being bland I also didn't appreciate that the bread got soggy I tried a bite of the BLT and also found it ok (even if admittedly that would not be what I would normally choice to order myself) An additional problem we had is that for a large part of our staying there was a strong smell of dust. I imagine coming from some venting pipe as it started and stopped quite suddenly.
"The atmosphere was very calm, and serene, I ordered a French toast, and the bread was so soft and delicious. I also got a hot cocoa, and I fully recommend it. It was just so satisfying and delicious. One bite and it's instantly a favorite.
