BEAR

Dublin

Steakhouse Modern Grill

BEAR isn't big on the refined touches you'll find in some steak restaurants - there are no fancy linens here. Grab a seat on a shared wooden bench and prepare to tuck into some serious carnivorous fare.

Serving lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, Bear is a joint effort by the Jo'Burger group (which along with BEAR consists of siblings Jo'Burger Rathmines, Jo'Burger Town, Skinflint and CrackBirdand rugby star Jamie Heaslip. The link between a restaurant chain and a rugby player may not be immediately apparent, but all the rugby players we know enjoy a good feed at least as much as we do.

Steak options cover those dining solo and shared offerings for two, three or four. Choices include some unusual cuts: rosary cut, feather steak, bavette. And there are non-beef choices too, should you prefer to go the whole hog rather than having a cow.
