1900
Dublin
1900 is a luxurious new modern bistro with a warm, sophisticated interior and a contemporary approach to food. From lunch to weekday early bird to à la carte dinner, 1900 offers modern menus - diners can also choose from an extensive wine list, cocktail menu and tapas.
The newest eatery on Harcourt Street, 1900 Restaurant is part of the famous Harcourt Hotel - it's ideally located around the corner from the National Concert Hall (NCH) if you fancy a bite to eat or a cocktail (or both) before or after a performance.
1900 was the year when a train from Enniscorthy failed to stop and crashed through the end wall of neighbouring Harcourt Street Station (leaving a locomotive danging over Hatch Street). Artist Michael McWilliams has dramatically depicted the train crash on one of the restaurant's walls - when you pop in to stoke your engines, be sure to check it out.
