Best fish n chips ever! This location fries their fish in beef tallow and the flavour is amazing! If it's good enough for Patrick Stewart it's good enough for me lol!
Lots of famous people have eaten here. And by here, I actually mean somewhere else because there's no room to sit down anywhere. But it's worth it because of how yummy it is.
The best fish and chips in the area from a personal opinion. Their customer service was excellent. I don't remember the names but one of the guys I asked him to be in the photo that I am posting. With him also was a really nice lady both of them willing to explain my options. I will be back for more soon.
We came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon in late April during a three night visit to Dublin which was part of an nine day tour of Ireland visiting from NYC. The weather was very nice with lots of sun and mild temperature. We recommend the restaurant from a friend in NYC who had been before. We arrived around 1245 in the afternoon. We waited about five minutes to order and about 10 minutes for our food to be ready primarily because we ordered the scampi which was made to order. This restaurant is a small counter service only establishment. There is no place to dine in nor is there much space to do anything but order your meal. I would recommend finding a place nearby to eat whatever you order outside (weather permitting) nearby such as Peace Park which is where we ate the food we ordered. We ordered the cod and chips, scampi and chips, as well as the curry sauce. Everything was so good but I especially like the scampi. We had too many chips and couldn’t finish everything. The curry sauce was great. Ketchup is only available in packets. The staff at the restaurant were definitely trying to quickly move orders through and trying to efficient. I would recommend being very prepared for you order with specific questions when ordering. I would looking forward to going back here again if visiting Dublin and would certainly recommend.
Highly recommended place!!! Amazing food! One of the oldest traditional cuisine and the most delicious one. The fish is unbelievable, melting in your mouth as butter😌best in my opinion! And the most friendly people are working there. By the way, it's in the centre) go for it!
