Had a wonderful experience at this Italian restaurant! The food was full of flavour and beautifully prepared. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The service was excellent from start to finish, and I felt really well looked after. I will definitely be back again soon and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great Italian food and a warm atmosphere!
Absolutely amazing experience! The food was incredibly delicious, the portions were huge, and the prices were absolutely fantastic. The gentleman was so kind and accommodated us even though we didn't have a reservation. However, it gets quite busy, so I highly recommend making a reservation beforehand! Also, the location is just a short walk from the Botanic Gardens, so it’s the perfect place to go after a trip to the gardens. We will definitely be back!
A hidden gem for authentic Italian food. The chef is also the owner, and you can really feel the passion and care in everything here. It’s a very small and cozy place with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The chef personally interacts with guests, makes you feel comfortable, and even helps you avoid over-ordering, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was amazing, especially the pasta, which was fresh and full of flavor. But the highlight for me was the tiramisu, easily one of the best I’ve had. If you’re looking for a truly authentic Italian restaurant with great food and genuine hospitality, this place is absolutely worth visiting.
From the moment we walked in, this place felt less like a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone’s home in the heart of Italy. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and genuinely inviting, and the owner treated us with such kindness that it honestly felt like we were guests at a family dinner rather than customers. 🍷✨ Throughout the evening we ended up having the most lovely conversations about Italy, travelling, history, and life in general, which made the whole experience feel even more personal and memorable. It’s rare to find a place where the hospitality feels so natural and sincere. I had the risotto, and it was absolutely incredible. Rich, creamy, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with care and fresh ingredients. My partner ordered the carbonara, and it was one of the best we’ve had, authentic, comforting, and full of flavour. Everything tasted beautifully homemade, like recipes passed down through generations. The portions were incredibly generous, the kind of plates that make you instantly feel taken care of. And the wine he has been serving for the past 18 years was amazing, full of character and the perfect addition to the meal. You could really feel the passion and pride behind everything there. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we’ll come back. A truly special place with authentic Italian food, wonderful conversation, and the feeling of being treated like family. 🇮🇹🤍
This was such an amazing experience! The food was amazing but Vio the owner/chef/waiter was exceptional. We had lunch there on a slow day, and he was so friendly and made us feel so at home. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.
