Wines on the Green

Wines on the Green, occupying the right half of the Celtic Whiskey Shop premises, is a haven for oenophiles in Dublin.

This is actually a shop of two halves, with a connecting passage (27 Dawson Street showcases the whiskies). Over the last few years, the wine side of the business was expanded and developed, eventually being re-branded as Wines on the Green - now entirely occupying 28 Dawson Street. Here you'll encounter an eclectic range of wines, 90% of which are imported by Wines on the Green themselves.

Ally Alpine (with over a quarter century's experience in the trade) manages the operation along with a staff of friendly, well-versed enthusiasts who are passionate about their work.
