Since opening its doors in June 2003, the Celtic Whiskey Shop has become the holy grail of whiskey emporia.
Having forged relationships with all of the Irish producers, The Celtic Whiskey Shop presents exclusive whiskeys, whiskey launches, tasting evenings and distillery trips on a regular basis. Then there's the bottles themselves: boasting the most comprehensive whiskey range in Ireland, The Celtic Whiskey Shop is impressively stocked with Irish, Scotch, and World whiskies (many rare and collectible, and there are some exclusive Irish whiskey bottlings as well).
If whiskey isn't your first choice, there's a superb selection of other spirits from around the world - from Absinthe Jacques Senaux to Zuidam Old Genever Gin, with plenty in between. You can also find craft beers and ciders, plus Irish liqueurs and poitín.
Actually a shop of two halves, a connecting passage leads to 28 Dawson Street, home of sister Wines on the Green.
