With two city-centre locations (the sister restaurant is in Camden Street), Zaytoon is on a mission 'to return the poor down-trodden and much maligned kebab' to its proper place in the food pantheon.
Killer kebabs are the order of the day. Your order is freshly prepared with the salad accompaniments and sauces (chilli, garlic, both?) of your choice.
It's also a fact that you get a lot for your money here - even the smaller-sized 'special' kebab is very generous indeed.
But what really sets Zaytoon apart from the rest is the quality of their breads (taftoon - Persian flatbread), freshly baked on the premises as needed.
We love their Chicken Shish-Kebab - it's a big, beautiful thing. Best of luck should you even attempt folding it and picking it up...
