Reviews
The food here was lovely and the service was amazing where they made sure we were taken care off the entire night. As we were in a big group, we had the set menu but that didn’t mean we were short on good options. For my appetiser, I had the pork which was smooth and tender. The foam that came alongside it also accentuated the flavour. For my mani, I had the duck which although was cooked well, it was over seasoned and the skin was a little rubbery. For dessert, I had the fried Brie which was rich and creamy. Overall, a pleasant experience.
They seated us even though it was late and waited on his hand and foot and the food was incredible and worth every penny and the service was spectacular. Absolutely delighted to have dined here and would love to come back.
Lovely dinner! We started with the scallop ceviche and a goat cheese pear dish which were both delightful. Would recommend their fish! And ending with an almond cookie, so tasty. The early dinner is a great way to try more for less.
I got a last minute cancellation on Sunday and had a great value 3 course lunch - €45. Every dish was so tasty and well presented. The beetroot salad was really nicely presented, the Hake was so fresh and cooked perfectly with a very interesting sauce. I won't leave it so long to ho back again.
Don’t let any negative reviews put you off. We visited Richmond for our anniversary meal and we had a fantastic experience. The food was exceptional, service attentive, friendly and not over the top like in some restaurants, and there was a general great vibe around the place. Sitting downstairs you can see into the kitchen, and see just how in control and calm their service was which is really cool to see. We shared all the dishes and started with the Cheddar Arancini Snack & Duck Tart. For mains we had the Glazed Ox Cheek, Pork Presse and a side of Grilled Autum Cabbage. Then finished with the Chocolate Fondant & Date Pudding. Couldn’t fault a single dish, and all the portion sizes were really good, we were stuffed! We highly recommend the Cabbage. Prior to our visit, we read some negative Google reviews which genuinely nearly put us off, but DO NOT let those reviews fool you because the entire experience was exceptional. We will definitely be back next time we visit Dublin to see what else they’re cooking up. Thanks to the whole team for a great evening.
