Check out the Early Bird (starter, main course and tea/coffee €18 until 7pm Sun-Thurs). And don’t worry if you can’t find Il Baccaro at first - it's tucked inside Meeting House Square.
Il Baccaro is known for satisfying Italian food in a unique setting - namely an eighteenth-century wine merchant's cellar.
The menu is full of Italian favourites, nothing wildly innovative but the dishes are comforting, solid performers. On our last visit, the Gnocchi con Gorgonzola e Caffé was a particular favourite, and we also enjoyed their Bruschette Miste.
In the heart of Temple Bar, Il Baccaro is also a great place to celebrate a special occasion - group and party menus are available on request (please contact the restaurant for further details). A bonus - no Service Charge on large groups.
