What a fantastic evening. From the moment we arrived the receptionist was so very warm, kind and helpful. Our server was also great and the meal was excellent. The atmosphere is beautiful and comfortable. What really stands out though is Eric, the sommelier. What a gem! He was helpful with the wine choice of course, but also so generous with advice regarding our travels. He was just wonderful and added so much to our experience. Thank you everyone for a wonderful evening!
We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Wilde and had such a lovely evening. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was warm and elegant, the table was very small for dinner and the seats a little uncomfortable but the service made us feel really special (by GABY - waiter). It was the perfect place for a memorable celebration. We’ll definitely be back!
A special restaurant for sure. I often avoid a hotel restaurant but after checking out the bar I thought it would be worth a go - a great decision. The food was outstanding and the staff were so attentive and helpful. They managed to squeeze us in last minute and we had a lovely table, Gabi gave us fantastic service and was one of the many reasons I would return to the restaurant next time I am in Dublin. Him and the duck breast!
The atmosphere gets an A, the set up classy and classic, our table had a bench on one side and chairs on the other. The lighting was adjustable and not aggressive but good enough to admire the subtle details of the food presentation. The service was up to the task but just a little shy of a 5 stars, with a little explanation and overview of the dishes we were interested in along with a faster serving of my drink would guarantee a 5 stars rating, but other than that our waiter was extremely nice and professional. Now the food, it was a 5 stars hands down, my sea bass, with sweet potatoes, mushrooms and greens was excellent the presentation was photogenic and delicious. The other dishes were just as beautifully presented as yummy and delicious.
Myself and girlfriend went here for valentines evening. Really nice resteraunt with excellent service. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating to us, and very professional. We got the lobster and steak fillet, both dishes were excellent and I would highly recommend. The cocktails and desserts were also very good, the sticky toffee pudding was very nice. Overall, very nice resteraunt for some fine dining.
