We stumbled on this place after a recommendation by a local pub owner. Safe to say we were not disappointed!! Home cut cooked chips to die for. The prawn starter is probably one of the best I've ever had. The fillet steak was cooked to perfection. We could not eat it all. The home made bread is a must!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you are ever in the area.
Food was good, even very good, But. I didn't like the menu card and that was not beverages into it, and for group of 6 people they gave us only one drinks and beverages cards. The toilets are actually nice, very clean, you have paper towels. But, again. It is not accessible for wheel chairs. Thought there is baby changing table. The service was nice and good. Food has arrived fast. In general, if you want more traditional food, it us not here. I guess it us more modern version of traditional food.

We visited as a group of five, and the experience was seamless from start to finish. Despite being a popular spot, the atmosphere remained quiet and comfortable, making it easy for us to actually enjoy our conversation while we ate. The food, however, was the real standout. We sampled a few different dishes, but two specifically stole the show: Fish and Chips: Perfectly crispy batter and fresh, flaky fish. It’s a classic done with high-quality ingredients. The Special Menu Burger: Incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. Both meals come super recommended if you're visiting. Whether you're looking for a solid traditional meal or a standout burger, this place delivers. Great food, great vibes, and excellent service for groups!
The fish and chips were absolutely delicious — perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside. Everything tasted amazing, especially with the cold beer on the side.
This evening we celebrated my birthday at The Cow Pub & Kitchen, with my family, and everything was absolutely excellent. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming, the food was so good, and the desserts were truly impressive! A real highlight of the night! We felt well looked after from start to finish. I highly recommend this place, and it’s a big yes for going back. Thank you so much to everyone for making our celebration so special!
