I recently got the chance to visit this restaurant after hearing a lot about their food, and it definitely lived up to the expectations. Starting with the ambiance — the place has a cosy, dimly lit setting that creates a warm and relaxing atmosphere. It’s a great spot for a dinner with family, friends, or even a date night. The service was attentive and efficient. By quick service, I don’t mean they rush you through your meal — they give you enough time to properly enjoy each dish while still being prompt and well-organized. Coming to the highlight — the food. The menu offers a good variety, including both set menus and à la carte options. I ordered the prawns, mussels-based pasta, and the tiramisu. Everything was beautifully plated, full of flavour, and served in satisfying portion sizes. They also have a healthy selection of wines for those who enjoy pairing their meals with a good drink. Overall, the experience was pleasant and enjoyable. Definitely a place I’d recommend visiting.
We went as a group of 5, Nice classic vibe! Lovely food. Taste & design for both starters & main food. Truffle Ravioli was absolutely delicious 😋 3 of us ordered dessert too but not 100% happy with them. So 4/5 for food.
Very good, but missing a few marks to be truly fantastic! Fabulous restaurant with a wonderful ambiance, it made for a very enjoyable Valentine’s night. The staff were friendly, though not particularly attentive. The menu looked gorgeous with plenty of choice, and the food itself was delicious with beautifully balanced flavours. However, there were some disappointing details: the plates were cold with visible grease marks, and the side dishes arrived freezing. These are small things, but at a restaurant as good as Rosa Madres, they really should be spot on. While the flavours were excellent, the temperature issues took away from what could have been an outstanding meal. The steaks side salad, in particular, was underwhelming and looked a little embarrassing, with only a tiny amount of sauce. Desserts tasted very good, though presentation could be improved, one plate even had two noticeable chips along the edge. There was no butter served with the bread, and several menu items were already unavailable at 5pm. Overall, it was a good meal with lots of potential. With a few small tweaks and more attention to detail, this restaurant could truly be excellent. Perhaps it was due to it being valentines night, we might hit have to give it another try.
The staff were very welcoming, and the food was authentic and delicious — just as my Italian friend recommended. The pacing between the starter, main, and dessert was perfect, and everything came out promptly. I also loved the quiet, classic interior. I definitely want to come back and try other dishes!
Fantastic seafood experience! The fish was prepared perfectly and was a clear standout, especially when complemented by their expert wine pairing suggestions. While the dessert options are a bit more standard, they still offer a nice finish. I will certainly be visiting again soon!
