A restaurant whose atmosphere, presentation, and attentive service I really appreciated, although I can't say the starters and main courses delivered an exceptional culinary experience. The Caesar salad had a unique twist, which I liked, but I believe it was served differently from what I had seen on social media. The salad, meat, fish, and bone marrow were around 5/10 in terms of flavor. Nevertheless, it was still a pleasant experience, and I'd like to visit again to try some different dishes.
The Hawsmoor is a truly amazing restaurant. We came here for the first time and had a lovely experience. From beginning till the end the service was flawless. Even when a slight error occurred Manon and the team handled it so perfectly that we were blown away by their efforts. We can only recommend this place. The Beef was so tasteful and the drinks are delicious. We will be back for sure! Thank you so much!
My husband and I went to Hawksmoor for our date night and it was our first time dining there. We absolutely loved the experience and have no regrets choosing it. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere and the staff were warm, attentive and welcoming. A special mention goes to Zoi, who was fantastic. She recommended a ginger drink, I can't quite remember the name and we both loved it because it reminded us of a ginger drink from back home called "gemere." We ordered from the evening set menu. My husband chose the steak, which was perfectly cooked, juicy and well seasoned. I had the charcoal chicken with sweet potatoes and both were incredibly flavorful and delicious. The highlight of the meal for me was dessert. We both ordered the sticky toffee sundae and it was outstanding! Not overly sweet, just perfectly balanced. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience and we look forward to returning.
An exceptional evening from start to finish. What truly distinguishes this restaurant is not only the quality of its cuisine, but the people behind the experience. Ross deserves special recognition for the warm welcome he extends to every guest. He has a remarkable ability to make you feel genuinely at home from the moment you walk through the door, creating an atmosphere that is both elegant and comfortable. Addy was equally impressive. His professionalism, competence, and attention to detail were evident throughout the evening. The quality of his service was exceptional, and his confidence and skill elevated the entire dining experience. It is increasingly rare to encounter someone so dedicated to delivering hospitality at such a high standard. Filippo was attentive and pleasant throughout our visit, always courteous and willing to help whenever needed. As for the food, I was genuinely surprised by how outstanding it was. Every dish was beautifully executed, and the cocktails were equally memorable—refined, balanced, and crafted with great care. The kitchen clearly takes pride in its work, and it shows. Dublin offers no shortage of excellent restaurants, yet this stands among the very best experiences I have enjoyed in the city. Superb food, excellent cocktails, and a team that understands the art of hospitality. I look forward to returning.
Been here a few times, mostly for steak and often, to celebrate a special occasion. Each time has been a great experience. Food, service & ambiance are excellent. The other day, we tried Sunday roast for the first time and it was nice for Sunday roast - generous serving. I would recommend adding the stuffing as side (for sharing). Our server Antonio was very good and attentive. I would advise to book ahead specially on weekends. (*Photos from previous visit. Forgot to take a photo of the Sunday roast)
