Very nice wood fired pizza joint! Sat outside and took in the ambience which was amazing! Service was very good and the pizzas were too notch, even per the Italian travellers that joined me! If you want a nice pie for great value in a cool location, check this place out!
We stopped by for a quick dinner on a Monday night. The menu didn't have many gluten free options apparent but the server confirmed the risotto of the day, mushroom, was gluten free so I ordered that. It was extremely tasty, though a very large portion so arrive hungry! My partner had the Diavolo pizza, a little spicy but good. The servers were very polite and friendly. I would recommend.
Admittedly, my favorite pizza in Dublin. We liked it so much we came back twice. Their dough is beyond. And the pesto, ugh, yummmm!!! I wish I could their pizza right now. The service was wonderful. Our food came quickly. During our first visit, we started with their beet salad and then their pesto pizza. On our 2nd visit we got the beet salad again (it’s that good), with a side of their green beans and broccoli and some fries. Both were excellent decisions - each meal was satisfying and tasty.
Very disappointed! want to start by saying that I did email the restaurant after my visit to give them an opportunity to respond, and I followed up again two weeks later, but unfortunately I never received any reply. This was my 4th or 5th visit, and in the past I’ve really enjoyed the food here and have recommended it to others, which makes this experience all the more disappointing. I visited in February and the meal fell well below expectations. The arancini balls were cold to lukewarm at best, and while the tomatoes themselves were nice, the bread they were served on was very poor. It didn’t seem like it had been toasted or grilled at all and was soggy, which really let the dish down. For my main, I had the nduja pizza which was just okay. It lacked any real quality, and the crust was extremely doughy, making it quite unenjoyable overall. My partner ordered a pasta dish and, although they said it tasted okay, they ate less than half of it. To add to the disappointment, there was an issue with the bill. We arrived during the early bird period, and the pricing didn’t seem to be applied correctly. The most expensive starter, main, and dessert appeared to be included in the deal, with additional charges applied in a way that didn’t make sense. In fact, we would have saved €1 by ordering an extra dessert, which suggests something wasn’t right. It genuinely felt like a fast one was pulled. Overall, a very disappointing experience, especially given how much I had previously enjoyed and recommended this restaurant.
We had a fantastic time here. It was my first time and I'm definitely coming back. The food is abundant and rhe flavors amazing. The pizzas live up for thwir fame. The arancini were delicious, the mussels portion was big, the spinach and ricotta lasagna came with a lot of cheese and tomato sauce, perfect, and a small side salad. And the tiramisu was the perfect dessert, they also have lemoncelo of course, ice cream, affogaryo and panna cotta wich I'll try next time. Good selection of wines, also beer and juice. The staff was super nice. We'll be back. It's not a big place so I guess it's better to book in advance depending on the time.
