The staff were friendly. They didn't record the order on paper nor tablet and got the order wrong. They appear to use younger staff which isn't a problem yet I would question how much training they are getting based on what I observed. The food was quite good yet a bit overpriced for what it was. The place and especially the toilets are in need of refurbishment. I genuinely cannot think of a reason to go back there and would not recommend it as there are better places nearby either in terms of value or atmosphere.
The food was delicious and had a great texture but the service fell short. We had to repeatedly ask for water and the cutlery arrived after our meals. While the location gives Crabby Jo’s a clear advantage, the staff should ensure all tables have everything they need despite their fast turnover.
We stop by after walking along the cliffs. We talk the bus up from dublin. We chose this restaurant over others because of the atmosphere and the suggestive food prices. I had seafood pie, which was excellent. My friend had salmon. Which also was prepared perfectly
lovely food and great selection of dishes. we dined on Saturday afternoon and place wasn't extremely busy. junior staff was incredibly slow and unatentive. we had to ask for the remaining dishes and basic things like first water or drinks order for ages. everything was sorted by senior staff after third attempt so we could finally enjoy the dinner.
We stopped in while on our excursion in October. The tour guide recommended it as one of his favorites in the area. Way cool decor inside. We got there too early for lunch but the hostess allowed us to stay and would serve us a little earlier. That was nice since the weather was crappy. I ordered the 8oz Irish beef fillet. It was good. I’m from Texas and I know that no one’s beef will be as good as a Tom Perini steak. My wife had the smoked salmon. It was good and very fresh. The service was good. Overall a very nice experience.
