Itinerary

Day 1: Depart Dublin heading south through Kildare, Laois, and Tipperary to the Rock of Cashel, a historic archaeological site associated with St. Patrick and the Kings of Munster. Next, visit Midleton Jameson Whiskey Distillery for a guided tour and tasting. Finish the day in Blarney with time to explore the castle grounds, attempt to kiss the Blarney Stone, and enjoy a walk in the surrounding woodland. Continue along Cork’s southern coastline to Kinsale for an overnight stay, with free time to explore its restaurants and pubs.

Day 2: Travel from Kinsale to Cobh, the Titanic’s last port of call, where you can learn about its maritime history. Continue east along the Copper Coast UNESCO Geopark before arriving in Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city. Visit Waterford Crystal, museums, or explore the Viking Triangle. In the evening, proceed to Kilkenny, known for its vibrant dining and pub scene.

Day 3: Enjoy free time to explore Kilkenny’s attractions in the morning. Then travel north into the Wicklow Mountains National Park, visiting the 6th-century monastery site of Glendalough and its round tower. Cross the Sally Gap before returning to Dublin by early evening.
