David Doyle is your Skipper - he operates Howth Boats, a charter service based in Howth Harbour.

The boat can accommodate up to 10 anglers per Sea Angling excursion, and it is often possible for individuals or very small groups to join with others. With over 20 years' commercial fishing experience in the area, Howth Boats know the best places to find fish.

Charters run year-round, and you can choose from full day, half day, or (in summer) evening trips. First time fishing? Not to worry, all types of anglers are catered for - including beginners and novices.

Sightseeing and Bird Watching trips are also available for the chance to peep at porpoises or peer at puffins. A boat trip to the far side of Ireland's Eye (Bird Sanctuary) is an ideal way to observe a wide variety of sea birds from a drifting position, particularly from April to August.
