Begin at Cahir Castle, one of Ireland’s best-preserved castles, located on a rocky island in the Suir River. It retains its original keep, tower, and much of its defensive structure.
Next, travel to Cork, situated between two channels of the River Lee. Spend two hours exploring its compact city center on foot, including the English Market, narrow streets and bridges, St Finbarr’s Cathedral, and St Anne’s Church where you can ring the bells yourself.
Finally, visit the Rock of Cashel, a medieval complex featuring a Circular Tower, an Irish Celtic Cross, and a Gothic Cathedral set on a large rock formation. You will return to Dublin between 7:30 and 8:00 PM.
