Travel from Dublin Heuston by train to Galway, then transfer to Connemara Airport for a flight to Inishmore at Galway Bay’s entrance. Inishmore spans approximately 12 square miles (31 square kilometers) and is known for its strong Irish culture, Irish language loyalty, and numerous pre-Christian and Christian historic sites.

Once on the island, explore limestone pavements and isolated rocks on a scenic tour. Visit Dún Aengus, an ancient fort situated on dramatic sea cliffs.
