If you’re a fan of great kebabs, you have to check out Chiya! I recently tried their donor kebab, and it genuinely exceeded my expectations. From the very first bite, it was clear that they focus on quality and freshness. The donor meat was perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with flavour without being overly greasy. What really stood out was the bread—it was incredibly soft on the inside with a light, crispy finish on the outside, making every bite even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly, courteous, and provided excellent service, making the visit even more enjoyable. It’s always refreshing to find a place where good food is matched with great hospitality. If you’re in Dublin and looking for a delicious donor kebab, Chiya is definitely worth a visit. Whether you’re craving a quick bite or planning a casual meal out, this place won’t disappoint. Great food, excellent service, a fantastic atmosphere, and outstanding cleanliness—it has everything you could ask for. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be coming back again. Have eaten here a few times now, and for Ireland, it’s not too bad. However, the meat is always way too salty, which leaves you forced to drink water all day long afterwards. Also, the ayran I got on my last visit wasn’t good at all—it was pretty stale and had a distinctly sour/spoiled taste. I’ll probably give it one more try, but if it’s the same story next time, I won’t be coming back.
good food overall with great quantity making it worth the price. not much of a selection in terms of the menu as there are really only 2 items on the menu and the doner kebab only has a beef or vegetarian option (when I went it might be different). the rice platter, however, does have a chicken option.
I tried the chicken doner and I’d give it a 3.5/5 for taste. The presentation was really good, and the curly fries were a nice addition. Their ayran drink was okay not special at all. I personally preferred the meat doner, as it had better flavour. I’m more into shawarma than doner overall, but it’s still worth mentioning that this is one of the better doner spots in Dublin.
The mixed Berlin style döner was honestly 10/10 — super fresh, flavorful, and one of the best I’ve had. The portions are huge, definitely great value for money. Also a big thank you to the girl working at the cashier — she welcomed me with a smile from the very beginning and was incredibly kind and patient. My card wasn’t working, and she helped a lot and stayed so friendly the whole time. Really appreciate it. Definitely recommend this place 😊
