Really delicious dry-aged and charcoal grilled steaks. I also greatly enjoyed the devilled kidneys, beef fat potatoes, creamed spinach and smokey old fashioned. The only let down was the black forest desert, which seemed to have thawed out frozen berries and generally was just very lacklustre compared to the rest of the meal. I'd love to go back but I would skip dessert next time.

We enjoyed our dinner at F.X. Buckley. We don’t have a reservation for dinner but we’re able to get in at a later hour 9pm. We liked the ribeye steaks, sauces, and sides. Service was prompt even with a few large groups just ordering as we arrived. Due to the large groups there the restaurant can get loud. Will definitely return for another meal when in Dublin.

Went for an anniversary meal which was lovely everything cooked to perfection, would highly recommend it. Staff and ambience were first class. we will definitely go back as the food is delicious. Side note when booking they ask if it's a special occasion, so if it is, as ours was. Then the occasion should be acknowledged

A famous establishment with a great interior and lovely adult meals, but a disappointing experience with the kids' menu and management attitude. This is a well-known place in Dublin with a fantastic interior and pleasant service. The steak, the mash, and the cooked vegetables were absolutely delicious and well-prepared. However, we had a major issue with the kids' burger. Since this business prides itself on six generations in the meat industry, I thought a burger here would be the safest and best choice for our child. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The burger arrived burnt to a crisp, charred black as hell. Our child was hungry but understandably couldn't eat it, to be honest, even I wouldn't have eaten it. It was clearly a case of poor kitchen execution, perhaps because the chef is more used to cooking steaks than burgers. When I pointed out that the burger was burnt, the staff and manager started arguing with us. They defensively claimed that it was just "grilled" and that this is how well-done burgers are made in Dublin. I have traveled to many places around the world and know exactly what a well-cooked, juicy burger looks like. There is a big difference between a well-done grilled burger and a piece of charred meat, especially on a children's menu. To their credit, they did exclude the burger from the final bill, which was a nice gesture. However, the fact that management spent so much time trying to persuade me that a burnt burger was "normal" felt unprofessional and wrong. Come here for the steaks and the atmosphere, but avoid the kids' burgers. Management needs to teach the kitchen how to handle the children's menu without burning the food, and learn to accept constructive feedback gracefully.

We had an absolutely fantastic dinner at F.X. Buckley Pembroke Street. Our group of six ordered four fillets, one rib-eye, and one striploin, along with pretty much every side dish on the menu to share. Everything was outstanding. The steaks were cooked perfectly to each person’s preference and the quality of the meat was exceptional. Every side dish complemented the meal beautifully and was prepared to the same high standard. We also enjoyed two excellent wines with our dinner — a Languedoc Malbec and a Ripasso Valpolicella — both of which paired wonderfully with the steaks. What really completed the experience was the attentive and professional service. The staff were incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and accommodating throughout the entire evening. Without a doubt one of the best steakhouse experiences we’ve had in Dublin. Highly recommended, and we will definitely return!
