Reviews
Fast service, loud atmosphere, and solid food overall. The starter calamari was fantastic—crispy, fresh, and not drenched in oil at all. For the main, they serve authentic Neapolitan-style pizza cooked in a proper oven. The quality is noticeably high for Dublin standards. The crust was a bit too chewy for my personal taste, but I'm told that's just the traditional Neapolitan style. The native Italians at my table absolutely loved it and raved about the authenticity, so it’s definitely the real deal!
9 of us arrived, no reservation. Surprised when moved to downstairs but it was great. Room is open to the friendly people making the pizza. Wait staff also very friendly and supportive. We felt at home. Limited menu -pizza dominant. Gluten free pasta. Appetizers and desserts were also good.
Absolutely love this place! The pizza’s unreal – proper Italian stuff, full of flavour and always fresh. Staff are lovely too, makes you feel right at home. Easily the best pizza spot in the city!
We had a rough day, but walking into Cirillo’s completely turned it around. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, the staff welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home. The Italian food was absolutely delicious the pizza was fantastic and the pasta was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The service we received was incredible, friendly, and genuinely made our evening better. If you’re looking for great Italian food with a warm atmosphere and excellent service, Cirillo’s is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended, we’ll be back!
The arancini were great in flavor and texture, super creamy, I think one of the best I’ve tried, but I think they are overpriced for the portion you get. The pizzas were lovely, very nice and fluffy dough with fresh and quality ingredients. The pasta was also delicious, cooked straight to the point and with a very tasty mushroom sauce. The place is cozy and comfortable and the staff very friendly
