A must visit when in Dublin. This unique and quirky pub just on the outskirts of Dublin City is a beautiful building with a huge history, full of antiques and curios. Big bonus if the owner is there, what a character and a friendly, warm, welcoming host. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, the locals were friendly. Don't miss this place.
What an amazing experience!!! It is a joy finding and eating to such a good place. The staff was organised and polite, the place was clean and the vibes were on point. Now let's talk about the main attraction, the food was amazing, we had some buffalo wings with some side fries and sauce. The best wings I ever tried in my life, I would recommend this pleacw to anyone coming to Dublin, with a Guinness to top it off of course.
Visited The Hole in the Wall on a Saturday around 18:00 and it actually wasn’t too busy. We mainly came for the drinks and to see the pub itself, since it’s known as one of the longest pubs — and yes, it really is quite an awesome place. The waiters were very friendly, the atmosphere was great, and the location right next to Phoenix Park is perfect. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Dublin.
I had this bar saved on my list and was interested to visit and see the different themed rooms. But maybe that only happens at Xmas ? The bar is a little out of the centre of town by the zoo. We had a car so not sure how you get there by public transport. The first couple of rooms were lovely traditional pub vibes but the end few rooms were more like a dining room. Had my first Irish Coffee here which almost made me fall off my stool it was pretty strong. Got used to them after a couple!
Superb location and Christmas decorations. Had the lunch there and the food was very good (quite limited menu options, but what they had was tasty). Santa came to say hello as well :) Highly recommend.
