FOH and BOH were incredible. The security officers were top-notch—it felt friendly, well-monitored, and supportive. I would recommend this place for after-office drinks.
We had our legal wedding celebration here and rented the entire pub on a Wednesday night. The minimum spend was only €1,000, which was incredible value considering we had exclusive use of the venue. The pub has a lovely traditional character and a great atmosphere. We spent around €1,000 on food, and while the quantity wasn't huge for the money, having the whole place to ourselves made it more than worthwhile. A fantastic venue for a private party or special occasion. The charm of the building and the exclusive space made it a memorable night for us and our guests.
Haven't been in here in years at 21st and have to say staff were amazing 😍 plus there was music 🎶 on which was brilliant man playing guitar 🎸 and food was excellent 👌 definitely recommend
Expensive cider, but very tasty and well made chicken Caesar. Atmosphere was decent - nothing special. I Ioved the good selection of old but well kept books at the back booth.
Please read the whole review.. Food, not amazing, Place, a little dusty, Table service, not 5 starts. Total rating? 10/10, perfect! I went to an Irish pub, not a fancy restaurant. I don't want to be served by a fancy person with fancy fake good manners. All I want is a good pint of Guinness. Feeling the aroma of old beer in the air. And watching some weird stuff on the telly, while having a good time with my wife, and a good chat with the barman. Thank you so much to the Latvian barman, a genuine person, extremely friendly and very importantly, he poured a proper pint of Guinness to the missus. 5 starts our of five to him! A gentleman! Please note, they don't have their own kitchen, it's from the hotel besides them.
