We’ve chosen to patron this spot three times in our time here in Ireland. Very lively! Lots of Craic to be had. The food is quite class for a pub. Service is the only thing that seems to be inconsistent but that wouldn’t change my mind about another visit. It’s worth it!
We just arrived to Dublin & we were very jet lagged & starving. We walked right in. The service was so fast. The hostess, waitress, and bartender were all so sweet! Our food was delicious & great portions. It came out so quickly too. The atmosphere is awesome. Outdoor seating was full, but we still enjoyed ourselves indoors! Everyone was having a great time.
The Ginger Man was a fantastic discovery in Dublin! The food was outstanding—huge portions and excellent batter on the fish. Wings were another highlight. What truly made the visit memorable was the outstanding service: welcoming smiles from the moment we arrived and nothing was ever too much effort. Great food, friendly staff, and both cash and card accepted.
Cute atmosphere for the holidays but overpriced and rushed out the door. The seating is open and based on first come, some tables oddly have a reserved sign on them so it made finding a table difficult initially. The nachos to share were Doritos styled chips with a chili and three dippers. The beers were nice and cold, but we were immediately brought the ticket to pay without asking for any second rounds and our table cleared quickly. The experience here is geared towards the atmosphere it seems.
The first stunning thing you notice is the ambience and the vibe. It is crazy. It feels like stepping straight into Christmas. Every floor is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is incredible. The food was good. We ordered the home pies and the beef one was simply delicious, while the chicken one was a bit too liquid for my taste. Customer service was ok. The staff were running around like crazy so it is completely understandable. They forgot a couple of things we ordered, but they always came back with a smile, which made the experience feel warm and genuine. Considering the central location and the overall experience, the prices felt fair for what you get.
