Solas

Solas Bar is known for its music, mixed drinks, and beer garden/smoking area up on the roof. Open late Thursday, Friday and Saturday, this place can be chilled enough on a weeknight but it can get quite crowded on weekends (especially downstairs).

At the Wexford Street end of the Camden Strip, this is a reasonable choice for kicking off a night of carousing. It's also a good 'starter' as it's fairly laid back with a relaxed vibe, helped along by a steady supply of resident DJs spinning an eclectic mix.

There's also food available here, whether it's lunch time or later on - to be accurate, it's billed as a 'Bar and Restaurant' - but we generally concentrate on the 'bar' side.
