We went to see a myths and legends of Ireland story teller which was incredible. For on the river the drinks where reasonably priced. The entertainment (open mic) was fantastic. Friendly people, super friendly staff.
First time here. Super cool bar, good bit of space also with a stage for gigs. It wasn’t busy and staff was really attentive. The little room with seats across from the bar is perfect for a date night drink actually. What made me go in was that they were playing fleetwood mac. Smoking area is at the front
I was on site here last Sunday, 22/02. I had just finished a pint of Guinness. I went to place the empty glass back on the bar. Regrettably, the glass smashed. The bartender stared me out of it for ten seconds. I endeavoured to explain that it was a genuine accident. I am also disabled; I am legally blind, to use the correct definition. Sin É is a dark bar even at the best of times, so the lighting on site really does not aid a man like me. The bar tender stormed aggressively out of the bar, and fetched whom I can only assume was the on site manager. The manager suggested that I go home. I was, and still am, very upset over the above. The manager knows me well; he knows the disability I am faced with in life. To top it off, I had just reconnected with some old school friends on site. We had really only commenced talking when the above incident occurred. In short, the bar staff/management need to have a little more consideration/compassion and understanding, especially for somebody in my predicament. Accidents/spillages can/do happen in bars. As mentioned above, Sin É is a dark bar, even at the best of times, which really did not aid the situation at all. Bottom line: I very much doubt anything will be done about this. Either way, I will never, ever drink here again!
