'Carton House Golf Club is a club with a soul. A club with a unique style of its own. A club with a passion for golf.'
Located only 14 miles west of Dublin City Centre and 30 minutes from Dublin Airport in Maynooth, County Kildare, Carton House has two championship courses to choose from - designed by golf legends Mark O'Meara and Colin Montgomerie.
The O'Meara Course (host to the Irish Amateur Championship in 2005) is a classic parkland setup meandering through pastures and ancient woodland, while the Montgomerie Course (which hosted the 2005 and 2006 Irish Opens and the 2010 Irish Seniors Open) is a 7,300 yard links which nods to more traditional courses, using the best in the world for its design inspiration.
Named European Golf Resort of the Year 2008, Carton House is home to a stylish Hotel, a luxurious spa and leisure suite - in addition to two of Ireland's finest championship golf courses.
Known for the quality of their food, Carton House offers dining options to suit any occasion - whether it's a light afternoon snack, a group event or an intimate dinner for two. You can choose from the relaxed, convivial atmosphere of the Kitchen Bar or fine dining in the Linden Tree Restaurant. For more informal meals, you can also visit the Clubhouse restaurant.
Carton House's Hotel is also a breathtaking spot for weddings - and with the historic setting and beautiful grounds, how could getting hitched be anything but magical?
Carton Demesne has attracted golfers from across Ireland and throughout the world. They warmly welcome golfers with a genuine love of the game, and invite them to call Carton House home.
