Had a driver fitting today. The whole process was excellent. Very informative and patient. I learned so much about my swing and natural tendencies and walked away with a lot of knowledge to bring to the course. Excited for my new driver to be ready. Highly recommend for anyone trying to dial in their numbers and understand their game better.
Recently got a set of wedges from Gary. Not only did he fit for the wedges but also spoke at length about my overall play and gave some useful pointers on my swing. I called in to Protégé for a gapping session and some advice on my current bag set up. I went in quite uncertain about my bag set up but left with a lot more clarity and understanding of my game and golf clubs. Gary has a deep understanding of the golf swing, trackman numbers and club technology. Considering how much is going on with all three of those things, Gary has the expertise to tie all that together into clear and straightforward advice and analysis of your game. Recently got back into golf after a fair bit of time away, and Rob and Gary have been brilliant to deal with. They make the whole process very straightforward and easy to understand, especially when it comes to the numbers and what actually matters for your game. I’ve been up a few times now for different parts of the bag, and each time has been genuinely useful. I hadn’t realised how much I was leaving on the table by playing with clubs that just didn’t suit me properly. The fittings are thorough, practical and never feel like a hard sell (just good advice from people who clearly know what they’re doing). The setup they have is excellent, and Gary’s experience really comes through in how clearly he explains things and how well he matches everything to your swing. Also worth mentioning their apparel, which is some of the best I’ve come across. The fit is excellent, the quality of the fabric is really noticeable, and there’s a great range of colours and styles. Plenty of choice too. Would highly recommend Protégé Club to anyone looking to get properly fitted or even just understand their game and equipment a bit better. I’ll definitely be back!!!
