I visited the restaurant on Saturday and wanted to share some positive feedback. From the moment we arrived, everyone was extremely polite, welcoming, and attentive. The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxed, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. As for the food, the Irish stew was absolutely delicious, and I simply loved it. The deep-fried potatoes were also fantastic. Thank you to the team for such a lovely experience. We really enjoyed our visit.

This hotel is excellent to stay in. As pointed out by other reviews, the location is excellent. The hotel is shielded from the noise and crowds of this very popular area by the frontage facing the river. The adjacent road too is not super busy. Our room had a window but the glass was frosted. You cannot see out of the window, but light streams in. This hotel fills in a sweet spot between more upper end hotels and supposedly 3 star or less joints. The bathroom had an extra wide sink, a towel heating rod, a microwave to grill, mini fridge, sofa, and a curtain to separate the beds from the "living room." We have stayed at other similar truly 4 stars, notably the Aura (Lisbon), Novotel (West London), and a new hotel in Leiden.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay in Dublin! Very clean, comfortable, quiet, walking distance to the city centre, friendly staff, helpful 🙂💯 we felt at home, there was everything you can imagine. We made our own breakfast and some sandwiches for the trips. It made our anniversary weekend break even better experience. Close to buses, shops, cafés, a supermarket, fully equipped kitchen, big comfy bed, just great! 👍🤩

Recently, our family stayed at the Zanzibar Hotel and we loved it. Everyone there were so nice and professional. ( especially the lady at the front desk from Argentina, and the Spanish gentleman at their killer buffet). It’s very modern and eco friendly, and great location. I have and will recommend it to my friends. There was one issue which we thought was interesting. The kitchen set up in our rooms was perfect, except no utensils are provided. We ended up buying some plastic ones. No biggie, just thought it was odd, and my wife ended up watering some of the lobbies plants. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will be back. James McArthur

Firstly staff on reception were superb (especially Kirsty). Breakfast staff were also polite and helpful. Can't fault the hotel overall, but the heat was quite overwhelming at the ground floor lobby, corridors and room. For the record this review is in late April. Appeared the air-con didn't work, despite on the lowest setting? Room was clean and facilities very good. We stayed on the 5th floor as despite noise from outside, when window was shut is was absolutely fine. Cafe on the ground floor really busy at times, but no noise heard upstairs.
