The hotel at entrance the carpet looked very dirty. The reception was not very good but the staff were very nice. The room was so hot and they refused to turn on the AC. We had to sleep with the window open which included the smells from outside. I sat on the chair and the big screw fell out I had to screw it back on. The location was close to all the spots that we enjoyed.
The location is brilliant, the view from the window is good too. The facilities and amenities are not so good... There's no TV. ( I wasn't so bothered about it) There's no mirror in the room, so if the bathroom is occupied, you have no mirror to get ready to go out! The pressure and the temperature of the shower was low, there were fixed bottles of shampoo,body soap and conditioner in the shower room. There was a coffee machine and a kettle, a few tea bags( no packaging just bare tea bags!) Some sachets of coffee, 3 pods of coffee for the coffee machine, 3 x bottlesofwater, 3 x disposable slippers.( this room was 3 x single beds ) I stayed by myself so it was okay, but it would be a problem to stay for 2 or 3 ppl I think. Unless you don't need to have a shower before going out also bring your own mirror! They had too many airfreshners plugged everywhere, the smell of the building was so strong. Personally I didn't like it. No restaurant in the building, you can buy a voucher for breakfast at The Cappuccino Cafe in Temple Bar area, which you have to go cross the main road. I walked to another place much closer for my breakfast instead.
