Arrived at 11am. Yes it was early they had no room ready which was no problem as I had gotten there early. I asked again at near 13.00hrs still no room ready! No problem I was hoping to just drop my luggage before heading to the city. Arrived back to the hotel after 20.00hrs tired and hoping to have a quick shower. Receptionist could not find our booking. I showed the email confirmation email and still no room available. We were waiting around for about 30 mins before they could find a room to put us in. No offer of a cup of tea/coffee whilst waiting around to get a room. We were eventually given a room. A very basic room, we got no information about breakfast time, no information about the bar what time did they finish serving food. No information on anything. I feel we were put in the room and nothing else available. It was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I wouldn't be staying here again. Bus links and Luas links are at least 30 minute walk
I stayed at the hotel on July 10th and was pleasantly surprised by the level of service and the friendliness of the staff. The room was very cozy, the bed was wonderful. I'd especially like to mention the breakfast. It had a wide selection, was high quality, and was simply delicious. Overall, I'd come back and stay here again.
Gorgeous lunch time today in the bar/restaurant. Very calm, relaxing atmosphere then meals are absolutely fantastic. Staff there Jono,Jay,Cuchulain and Mateul are very friendly, kind and brilliant work. I had delicious Roast beef and Cream puff. I totally enjoyed them. Can't wait to visit again. Thanks for your excellent services.
I stayed at Maldron between May 19th to May 26th This was my 1st visit to Ireland but certainly not my last. The staff was so welcoming and acknowledged my every need. Thank to Shully and the rest of the staff my experience was awesome. I'm already selling Ireland to my friends in Canada. I will be back for sure. Thanks everyone. Living the experience of staying in a hotel that truly goes beyond all expectations is simply priceless. From the very first day, we were welcomed with exceptional warmth, genuine friendliness, and outstanding service, which immediately made us feel at home. In the evenings, the atmosphere in the bar and restaurant is incredibly cosy, relaxed, and inviting, creating such a friendly environment that you truly feel surrounded by friends. It is the kind of place where you can completely unwind, enjoy the moment, and forget about the fatigue of travelling. And last, but definitely not least, the breakfast: simply outstanding! I have stayed in hotels across several countries and on three different continents, and I can honestly say that I have never experienced such attentive service nor enjoyed such delicious, high-quality, and carefully prepared food. It is truly a highlight of the entire stay. A very special thank you to Mr Kabir, whose politeness, kindness, and genuine care make the atmosphere even more special. People like him truly make a difference and take the experience to another level. I do not simply recommend this hotel — I strongly advise making the Maldron Hotel an essential part of your stay in Ireland.
