Beds were really comfortable and pillows and duvet were exceptional. Beautiful rooms with tea and coffee facility and biscuits and bottled water a nice touch. Also breakfast was self service and of very high quality. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay
A newly opened hotel. The rooms are excellent. We have stayed in a deluxe double and then were upgraded to an executive - both had very comfortable beds and excellent en suites with a large walk in shower. The staff are all very welcoming and knowledgeable- we would like to mention Laura, our waitress this evening, who coupled professionalism with a friendly, personal approach. Dress in the restaurant is informal, the food is reasonably priced and very good; the breakfast choice is second to none. As well as for events at Croke Park, the hotel is ideally situated for buses and trains into the centre of Dublin. Drumcondra Station with trains into Connelly and regular bus services into O’Connell Street leave from Drumcondra Rd - about. a 10 minute walk away. There is a lift to all floors and an added bonus is the free water bottle refilling station in the reception area.
We had a wonderful stay at maldron Hotel croke park. Staff was very helpful friendly and accommodating. Our room was cosy with comfortable beds and pillows. Bottle water and cookies in the room for our tea was a lovely touch. We asked for a wake up call which was no problem. Breakfast had a wonderful selection that catered for everyone.. Check out for smooth. Thank-you very much for a lovely stay. Best of luck and we hope to stay again.
Our welcome was great, special thanks to Giorgia and Keilim who gave great outstanding service. All of the staff is very helpfull and kind. Restaurant and food lovely. The dishes are tasty and well presented. We ate here 4 out of 6 days stay! Breakfast is good. Lounge is comforable to stay . Room was good, nicely styled, modern with a very comfortable bed . Bathroom is spacious, great shower and mirror. BedRoom is small in space, not for 3 pers!. Only 1 chair, we had to sit on beds, so please add 1. No space to empty suitcase( drawers , shelves, or hooks are welcome and missed). Cleaning was good but also lacking sometimes, so twice we had to report this. We appreciate the cooki3s, tea and water in room. A minifridge would be nice. Carpet in hallway makes carrying suitcases very heavy and difficult. Not everything was working, watertap and drinksmachine etc . If you forget your card in the room ( because you leave it in the wall for light) and get to the lift hall, you have a problem!! You cant go back to the rooms , and neither take the lift. Have to wait and see if anyone sets you free.. Also we had several payment issues. With check inn we paid several times, passes were declined . We used different passes, for breakfast s we booked in advance.. now we see several withdrawels on our account. We mentioned this before. Check out if at reception was long wait; you have People checking in Early . Better do check inns after 11.30...seeing as checkout is untill 11. Overall, we had a lovely stay, very welcome and we understand the start up difficulties you have . We mentioned tips for improvement here above. The staff were excellent, especially at the reception. A new hotel and it’s lovely and clean and quiet. The breakfast was fresh and very hoot with a good selection! I really enjoyed my stay.
