Description

Step into the tranquil galleries of the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) and experience art in a new light with the Art in Focus Tour. This guided experience invites you to pause and truly engage with a carefully chosen selection from IMMA’s Collection and Exhibition Programme. Begin your journey as you’re welcomed into the gallery space, where your guide introduces the theme of the day and sets the tone for a relaxed, thoughtful exploration. Instead of rushing from piece to piece, spend time with one or two standout artworks, delving into their stories, techniques, and the ideas behind them. The guide will prompt conversation and reflection, helping you make meaningful connections and encouraging you to ask questions or share your impressions. This approach fosters a deeper appreciation and may even inspire you to see the world differently. Throughout the 45-minute tour, enjoy a calm, intimate atmosphere—perfect for those seeking a quiet moment away from the city’s bustle. Conclude back in the gallery, leaving you free to continue exploring IMMA at your own pace or enjoy the museum’s café and gardens.
