Departing early morning from Dublin and heading north, your first stop will be Dunluce Castle. It was used as the House of Greyjoy in Game of Thrones, and is perched on the north Antrim Coast. This castle perfectly captures the atmosphere and intrigue of the Medieval world. Next, you will visit the Giants Causeway, which of course is one of the highlights of this trip. The Causeway is a UNESCO World Heritage Site which consists of a series of over 40,000 hexagonal shaped rocks that look like a grand set of stairs leading into the sea, a formation which has been astounding people for generations now. Your last stop on this tour is Belfast City, a city that is rich in heritage, which offers a host of vibrant cultural and artistic experiences for you to enjoy. Arriving here allows you to enjoy a 1.5-hour break to stretch your legs and soak up the atmosphere of what once was a well-divided city. Here it is recommend to visit Shankill Road, which will allow you the chance to view the murals of troubled times, as well as the Peace Wall. You will also visit Stormont Estate, which is home to Northern Ireland’s Parliament Buildings and is a must-see when in the city of Belfast. After your short 'city-break' comes to an end, you will be taken on a drive along the Northern Irish countryside visiting the picturesque countryside which looks as if it comes straight out of a storybook. You will later arrive back in Dublin to enjoy a pint of the 'black stuff' (Guinness), and toast to a wonderful and memorable day outside of the city.
