Description
Set sail for a fun and unique 75-minute tour of Dublin by land and water. On board a re-conditioned World War II amphibious military vehicle, you will travel by road, passing Trinity College and Christchurch Cathedral, before entering the Grand Canal Basin, still in the vehicle! Fondly known as “Ducks” the brightly-painted vehicles are steered by trusty Viking captains with a wealth of knowledge about the city. They will provide a lively commentary about how Dublin was settled by Vikings over 1,000 years ago, and how it developed into the vibrant, cosmopolitan capital of Ireland today. Learn about Medieval and Georgian Dublin, and enjoy spectacular views of Mansion House, Christchurch Cathedral and St. Patrick’s Cathedral, to name a few. Practice your Viking roar on unsuspecting Celts as you hurtle through the streets and down into the Grand Canal Basin. A firm favorite with young and old alike, it is a truly unique experience.Includes
