Description
Choose between a basic currach session or a currach Liffey tour. No experience is needed, as currach sessions are suitable for complete beginners as well as those with rowing experience. Your instructor will guide you through the basic stroke technique and teamwork needed to get the boat moving smoothly.
Each currach typically seats 2 to 4 people. It’s a great activity for couples, friends, small groups, or anyone looking to try something authentically Irish on the water.
Currachs are traditional Irish rowing boats, lightweight and fast-moving, with deep cultural roots along the Atlantic coast. Taking part in a currach session gives you a truly unique and Irish-specific experience you won’t find anywhere else in Dublin.
Currachs are designed to be light, responsive, and easy to handle once you get the rhythm. Your instructor will support you at every step, making it an enjoyable experience for all fitness levels.
