You have an excellent photographer because the rooms look much better online that in person. Irish are absolutely lovely people, most of the staff however were as personable as a wet blanket. The place needs a facelift. Most days we didn’t have hot water. Your social media makes it look like you’re a dog friendly hotel however, you claim owners bring their own dog beds. You realize a dog bed would take up an entire luggage. Please don’t claim your dog friendly and not provide dog beds or bowls. I loved the neighborhood but really wish I stayed at another hotel in the area. Feels like a 3 star accommodation.
Room 101 is very close to a very noisy boiler, bathroom is damp and not properly ventilated, shower knob fell off twice, and there's no WiFi signal either. Not all rooms are pet friendly either.(apparently mentioned in a small print on the website but not on the room selection screen). Concierge was as helpful and understanding as a chocolate teapot. I know they couldn't help but a complimentary biscuit or a apology or a good word goes a long way.
Stayed here from June 19 to 21 to see the Metallica concerts. Townhouse is only a 10 minute walk to Aviva Stadium. I enjoyed staying at the townhouse. The room is simple but has everything you need. Location is nice, in a mostly residential neighborhood and you can walk to the city center in 30 minutes. Breakfast was great with a bunch of items to order from and the staff were all very friendly. If I were to come back to see a show at the stadium, I would definitely come back.
Good location for tourist visit if you need parking. Good sized room facing the street - a bit of road and plumbing noise. Excellent shower. Good breakfast including cooked options prepared to order. No kettle in room but can prepare tea/coffee in reception. Desk is staffed 24/7. Decor is good but a little maintenance needed here and there. Gated car park via a back alley gives easy access to hotel for luggage (no need to take cases up front steps).
Our stay was very short. The girl at the reception / Valeria / quickly and neatly received us and settled us in the rooms. The room we were in / 504 / is small, cozy and clean. The minus is that the window faces the street, which has an intense flow of vehicles. The hotel's parking lot is relatively large and convenient. The location of the hotel is great.
