Marie's Bed and Breakfast

My wife and I recently stayed at Marie's Bed and Breakfast for two days and three nights as part of our European vacation. We honestly couldn't speak any higher about our experience. The three brothers (Liam, Tony, and John) are some of the nicest, most genuine people we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. They went above and beyond to assist us in any way they could, whether it was ordering food, transportation, or exploring the area. Our room was clean and comfortable. The location was only a 10-minute drive from Dublin Airport, so it was incredibly convenient for our late flight in and then returning home. We also had plenty of options for breakfast to start our days off right. Anyone looking to travel to Dublin should strongly consider staying here. It's a true reflection of authentic Irish hospitality.
This is little hidden away gem is hands down the best night sleep we had in all our travels while in Ireland. It's hidden away, but worth the stay. It's also just a short walk from great food, a Centra, and many other shops.
My son, a young autistic man, was traveling in Ireland alone (we are from the US). I booked his stay here ahead of his return flight from Dublin. Thank you for making him feel safe and welcome. He reports that the establishment was easy to find, warm and well, and the room was clean and comfortable. Thank you!
We stayed 3 nights. Our room was very comfortable. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. The bus stop was only 100 meters away, so riding public transport was easy. Not far from the airport. Definitely would stay the next time in Dublin.
If you enjoy traveling not only to see new sites but also to interact with the local people and are tired of the anonymous, code-sending accommodations, Marie’s B&B in Dublin is for you. It is a family home [Marie was the Mother] in a residential neighborhood, run by her sons, who are as warm, kind and helpful as can be. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always thinking about how to make your stay and life easier. They are also a wealth of information to share and will chat or leave you alone, as you need. They are most accommodating to your arrival and departure times. The rooms and bathrooms are bright, spotless, well appointed, with tea and coffee making facilities, and comfortable. A lovely breakfast, with multiple options, is served on the main floor, with a window overlooking a green across the street. It is very quiet within and without. Within a 10-15 minutes walk you can find a small grocery and other shops. Across the street are the bus stops to go to the Airport, 10 minutes, or into downtown Dublin, 20-30 min. They also have a supply of Leap Cards for the bus, since they don’t take cash. Not relevant for me, but there is parking space. I was in Ireland visiting cousins after a very long time and was going to England for a short visit and then returning. I only needed to take a small bag and they kept my larger bag, etc., for a few days until I returned. When I did arrive back, my bags were already in the room I was then to occupy. They even drove me to the bus stop in the morning going to the Airport so I wouldn’t have to switch buses. When I was departing for good, for an early morning flight, they had a taxi waiting and even had some breakfast ready. Such thoughtful care!
