Amazing experience at The Lock Keeper! The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and everything cooked perfectly. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, the wings had a great sauce, the fries were fresh, and the corn on the cob was a nice addition. The onion rings were also excellent. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. I would definitely recommend The Lock Keeper to anyone looking for great food, a lovely setting, and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Great food and great service. The chicken burger was delicious. Great location too. Served by Daragh, Ashling and Kate all very helpful and accommodating. My son even spilled his water on the ground and the waitresses had it cleaned up in seconds. Very professional and well trained staff.
Food was nice. The waitress was super helpful. Bar staff member took our order then was instructed to go pick glasses and told us to reorder again which was highly unprofessional. He was instructed to do this by what I suspect was the owner who decided to pick and choose when he wanted to micromanage. Toilets weren’t checked I feel regularly enough and resulted in excess water on the floor. Good atmosphere in the place and it has a good selection on the menu. Drink prices are on the pricey side. It’s not your typical local pub.
First time in on a recommendation - had Ceasar salad, Lasagne and Banoffee sundae to finish - Can’t fault the salad, hard to get wrong, the lasagne was nice, but lacked tomato or bechmel sauce, it was - bit dry, but not horrible - The banoffee sundae was a bit of a letdown - way too much biscuit crumb just made it dry, even with the ice cream. Friends had a mixture of ribs, wings, burgers and pasta - could have been a bit more sauce with the ribs, but overall mostly good. Presentation was very good, can’t fault that - Server was very friendly. Cocktails looked amazing, some of us were driving so said we would come back when we weren’t and give them a try. Overall an enjoyable evening with friends, good music and not overbearing loud, we will 100% be back, just tiny food thoughts.
Stopped by on a Sunday for a sweet treat. I had their Sicilian Lemon Cheesecake. I thought it was delicious. Really nice presentation, very quick service. The manager served us and he was very polite, engaged in some good friendly conversation. Nice chilled music playing like Neil Young. It was a nice place to have a conversation. First time there, I'll definitely go back.
