Great venue for a family event. Food and drink very good.
It had been years since I was here and it didn't disappoint. Only walked there as car was left in for service. We only had the 2 diff breakfasts for brunch so we were a bit late that the bacon was dryer than one would like, but everything else was fine. I would have liked more beans or at least the 2 diff size portions be reflected with diff carton sizes, but I understand the idea of always giving out the same amt. I suppose. The place wasn't packed but due to the layout and beams/pillars like a bit of a maze, I did feel sorry for staff as they would have to keep walking around to see if ppl need to be served, or customers have to walk around to look for them - like I did when I wanted to pay. I will say I happened to go to 2 diff Ladies and one was old and wouldn't flush (home style handle to move downwards) while the other was more modern and cleaner and more efficient, press against a built in wall. Atmosphere was nice and other customers seemed to also enjoy their food. I totally recommend. I do regret not checking out the carvery dinners n meats... Just to see if anythg overcooked or dried out at the start, coz we were there before noon, so still hadn't started, but it had by the time we were leaving.
We really enjoyed our first experience at this restaurant. The all-wood interior creates a cozy and beautiful atmosphere. The service is fast and very friendly. The prices are appropriate for the venue. The food is delicious and well presented. We highly recommend it.
Quintessential Irish pub and eating place! The experience and atmosphere was perfect! We just wanted a Guinness and some food and this place was awesome! Very much a local feel which was also good. Close to the train stop so worth a ride out here for the experience!
