Trinity Townhouse Hotel
Dublin
Reviews
This is a lovely hotel, close to many Dublin landmarks. Friendly and helpful reception. There is no lift so it would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. Breakfast was very well presented.
I unfortunately never had the opportunity to stay at Trinity Townhouse Hotel due to the COVID-19 pandemic and international travel restrictions in 2020. While I appreciate that this was an extraordinarily difficult period for the hospitality industry, I was disappointed that my booking (€977.40 in total) was converted into a non-refundable voucher rather than refunded. All other accommodation providers connected to my trip issued monetary refunds under similar circumstances. Nearly six years later, as an Australian traveller with no plans to return to Dublin, the voucher is realistically unusable. Despite recent multiple polite attempts to resolve the matter directly with the hotel, including requests for management review, a refund has continued to be refused. I understand businesses faced challenging decisions during COVID, however I believe greater flexibility and fairness would have been appropriate given the significant value involved and the length of time that has passed.
Small boutique hotel right in the center of Dublin. Great side street location. Spacious superior double. Very quiet! Friendly service. Top notch breakfast. Note: many stairs, ask about accessibility
