Iveagh Garden Hotel
Dublin
レビュー
We had a fantastic stay at the Iveagh Garden Hotel and would absolutely stay here again. The location was perfect—within easy walking distance of Dublin’s main attractions, restaurants, pubs, and shopping, while still being quiet enough to get a great night’s sleep. Our room was modern, spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Everything felt well-maintained, and after a long day of exploring, it was the perfect place to come back and relax. What really made this hotel stand out was the staff. Our luggage was left behind in the U.S. and arrived in Dublin a full 24 hours before we checked in. The hotel kindly accepted the delivery and safely held our bag until we arrived, which was a huge relief and made a stressful situation so much easier. When it was time to leave, the front desk called us a taxi, and the staff even helped load all of our luggage into the car. Those little touches of genuine hospitality made us feel truly taken care of. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable hotel in an excellent location with outstanding customer service, I can’t recommend the Iveagh Garden Hotel enough.
This hotel surpassed my expectations with flying colors. The staff was super nice across the board, especially Kevin who walked my husband to buy Leap Cards, and Alan Fanning the Concierge, who gave us plenty of ideas and helped us get tickets for the things we wanted to do. The bed was as supportive as my husband and that's saying something! We woke up well rested and happy every morning. We heard plenty of live music from the local park to our room, but it was at a very pleasant volume. Luas left a couple hundred meters from the hotel, and there were plenty of restaurants, shops, and parks nearby. Absolutely worth a stay. The breakfast was great as well, and everything was clean and well kept.
We arrived early in the morning around 9:30 am at the hotel after an overnight flight. Luckily they had a room available for us right away which was awfully nice. They did charge 25 EURO for the early check-in, but let us have the buffet breakfast which I thought was fair. The buffet breakfast is excellent, many choices, all very high quality. The rooms themselves look like have just been redone and are excellent condition, very nicely appointed and exceptionally nice bathrooms. We found the location to be convenient with most of the main areas of Dublin within walking distance. I booked directly with the hotel which gives a little discount and I thought the price was very reasonable for the location.
Loved everything a cracking hotel in a great location for pubs and eating places. The room was quiet and a good size, bathroom exceptional. The bar is very good serving an excellent pint of guiness. Breakfast is on the more expensive side compared to other hotels however is very nice and value for money. Highly recommended for a city break.
The Iveagh Garden Hotel is undeniably beautiful. It is stylish, clean, and in a great location. Unfortunately, my stay had one major flaw that overshadowed everything else. I was not expecting to be placed in a room without AC and only a small window in the top corner that wasn’t accessible. Even though it was only 16°C (61°F) outside, my room sat at a stale 24.5°C (76°F) all night. Housekeeping eventually brought me a fan, but only after five hours and two requests. Even then, I barely slept. The room was simply too warm, and there isn’t even a thin sheet available, only a heavy comforter. I know some rooms do have AC, but I wasn’t given any way to guarantee one when booking. Buyer beware: if temperature control or natural light matters to you, make sure you confirm your room type in advance.
