Terri the bartender was an absolute delight, thanks to her absolutely fantastic welcome and hospitality we came back for our lunch before we had to leave for the airport. Honestly The Merchants Arch is an absolute Dublin Gem. I wished we could have the Merchant Arch and Terri back in Norfolk England. The music, the memorabilia, friendliness from the staff have made our stay so so memorable. Thank you for welcoming us both. This Pub and food is the best in Dublin. I can't wait to return, hopefully very soon 🥰
We went to Ireland for the whole week-end and someone told me about this place. For food and music (and beer of course). We enjoyed a meal while there was some really good music to listen to. The burger ordered was perfect. This is rare to find this quality of meat nowadays. (Same for the chicken) The Guinness was awesome. People Who work here are like all Irish People really kind and polite. They always want the best for you especially Sandra Who served us tonight Thank you so much Sandra for your patience, your smile and your good work. It was a really good experience to live here in Ireland
We dropped by on the hottest day in Dublin and enjoyed the cold beers and atmosphere. The food is decent bar food but the service we got from Penny was excellent. Enjoyed the place quite a lot. Highly recommend it.
A wonderful discovery! The setting is absolutely beautiful, with stylish and charming decor that immediately creates a great atmosphere. The live music adds a warm and lively touch, making it a perfect place to enjoy a nice evening. The service is just as impressive: the staff are attentive, friendly, and take great care of you from start to finish, which really makes a difference. As for the food, we had a very enjoyable meal — the dishes were tasty and well presented. The kids were a bit surprised by the Irish sausage, which is quite different from what you might find in German-speaking countries — but of course, that’s a matter of personal taste. Overall, a great experience that we would happily recommend!
Had another amazing experience at The Merchant’s Arch! We’ve been coming here many times over the past year whenever we visit Dublin, and it continues to be one of our absolute favorite spots. We’re from Texas, and this place has become a must-visit for us every trip! This time, we brought my in-laws to show them a place we love so much and they absolutely loved it too. The food was fantastic as always, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the hospitality here is truly unmatched. Sandra was such an amazing server — so friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout our visit. Frank, the manager, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Tom, and he was absolutely so friendly and wonderful to chat with. You can really tell this place is run with heart. Amazing food, drinks, people, and atmosphere every single time. We’ll definitely keep coming back whenever we’re in Dublin! 🍀🍻
